Kayak Accessories
Our wide range of kayak accessories includes safety equipment, storage accessories and repair products. Kayak bilge pumps are one of the most popular safety accessories and help prevent a leaky situation from worsening.
Kakak Airbags
Kayak airbags help keep your and your boat from succumbing to a number of risks by keeping water out and increasing the buoyancy of the boat.
1) Kayak airbags can prevent your boat from sinking in the event of a capsize.
2) If your river boat fills with water after you capsize and exit it will now weigh around 200kg and be floating down the river. When that partly submerged boat hits a rock all 200kg will attempt to smash it to bits. Kayak airbags will help keep a lot of that water out and make your boat lighter and float higher in the water reducing the risk of damage.
3) Try lifting 200kg of water filled boat out of the water! Kayak airbags help keep the weight of a getaway boat to a minimum, increasing it’s buoyancy and making it easier to recover.
4) If you sea kayak loses a hatch cover, or develops a leak, having your compartments empty spaces filled with kayak airbags will help keep the water out and keep you boat floating higher in the water until you get to shore.
Canoe Accessories
Kitting your canoe out with front and rear airbags are one of the most common ways to improve canoe safety and ensure you can right your boat again should you capsize.
Kayak Trolleys
Kayak trolleys can make the journey from the car to the water’s edge, or from the shore to your campsite, much easier and make it possible to be done by one person. Kayak trolleys are one of the most popular items in our accessories section and also make popular gifts for the ‘kayaker who has everything’.
Kayak trolleys come in different sizes and shapes. Larger kayak trolleys with bigger wheels can make it easier to transport your boat however bigger trolleys are more difficult to transport around if you plan to take them with you on your kayak voyage.
