Loch Lomond Speed Limits

Loch Lomond is covered by a set of byelaws which include speed limits that vary  depending on where you are on the loch. The Loch is used by a wide variety of users and some, such as swimmers and paddleboarders are particularly vulnerable to powered craft when not driven responsibly.

In order to keep Loch Lomond a safe and enjoyable place for all, adherence to the speed limits helps to segregate different types of activity allowing families to take their kids to a particular part of the loch safe in the knowledge that fast boats are restricted in that area.
