Description

Our Model A Kayak Trolley is the most compact in our trolley range and can be used for a range of different sized kayaks and canoes.

This kayak trolley features solid tyres so they can’t be punctured if rolling over sharp objects. The kayak trolley is made of anodised aluminium with stainless steel and plastic fittings which makes it resistant to corrosion but we still recommend rinsing the trolley with fresh water after use to keep it in optimum condition.

Your kayak is held on top of the trolley using the clip together tie down strap which is supplied. Using this strap helps keep your kayak on top of the trolley when travelling over rougher ground.

The Model A Kayak Trolley is strong enough for most types of kayak and has a carrying capacity of max 40kg.

The use of kayak trolleys is becoming more and more popular as increasing numbers of people discover the joys of sea kayaking and wish to take their boats to remote locations. A kayak trolley can allow a single person to move a kayak with ease that would normally require two people to move it.

The wheels of the kayak trolley are removable and can fold flat so it may fit in the hatches of some sea kayaks or can be lashed to the deck of other boats.

We added foam padding to help reduce the risk of scratches to your kayak and all parts are included plus a tie down strap to help keep the kayak on the trolley.

Weight: 2.6kg

Why buy a kayak trolley?

How does a kayak trolley work?

Kayak Trolleys work by supporting the weight of the kayak loaded onto it. The kayak is strapped down and the wheels of the trolley make it easy for the kayaker to transport and manoeuvre the heavy kayak to the water’s edge.

What is the best transport option for a kayak?

We have a few options, however this depends on budget, kayak weight, compactness of trolley (do you need to take the trolley on your adventure), the kind of kayak you own etc.
