Lomo Watersport Makes a Splash at the Go Swim Loch Lomond Event

Another year, another thrilling Go Swim Loch Lomond event, and Lomo Watersports were right there in the thick of it! As proud sponsors for over eight years, we were once again delighted to support this fantastic event that celebrates the open water swimming community.

Race Day Excitement!

The energy crackled in the air on August 31st, 2024, as hundreds of swimmers arrived at Loch Lomond. The buzz of pre-race excitement filled the atmosphere as participants checked in, changed, and geared up for their heats. Go Swim led the way, ensuring everyone’s safety with dedicated land and water safety teams, complete with first responders.

Competition and Camaraderie

Every race was meticulously timed with chip timers, and the spirit of competition soared high. But Go Swim isn’t just about winning – it’s about celebrating achievement. Every finisher received the coveted medal and a unique Go Swim memento, a tangible reminder of their accomplishment. And of course, you couldn’t miss the sea of vibrant Lomo-made swim caps, a splash of colour against the stunning Loch Lomond backdrop.
