We are thrilled to report that Tom and Lauren successfully completed their epic adventure! After 186 incredible days, they reached their destination, South Africa. Conquering a staggering 16,757 miles in the process. Their route wasn’t just geographically impressive; it encompassed a remarkable 22 countries, with 20 of those being in Africa.
Resilience on Two Wheels: 3 Punctures and Countless Memories
The journey wasn’t without its challenges. They faced the inevitable bike trouble, including swapping out Laurens’s engine, various miner mechanical struggles that were fixed either by Tom or by some local garage, and punctures (one a mere pinch flat) – a reflection of the demanding terrain they traversed. But through it all, their determination and passion for adventure shone through and so did our bags!
