Go Swim Loch Lomond 2025
We at Lomo Watersport were delighted to once again sponsor the Go Swim Events Loch Lomond swim. The event, held on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at the stunning Loch Lomond, brought together a wide range of swimmers, from first-time open water participants to seasoned racers.

The picturesque venue in Balloch, near Ben Lomond, provided the perfect backdrop for the day’s events. The races used familiar entry and exit points at the main slipway in Drumkinnon Bay, with Race HQ located near the Duncan Mills Memorial Slipway.
Our involvement began well before the big day. We took time to prepare the course, setting out our Lomo branded race marks and buoys. We also set up our Lomo scrimage, along with the inflatable finish archway, and assisted in helping out the team to ensure everything was ready for the swimmers.
On the day itself, we were there to capture the magic and enjoy the fantastic spirit that defines the Go Swim events. Participants arrived in the morning, registering at the Lomo-sponsored gazebo. Before each heat was called, a professional warm-up session got everyone ready for their race. The resident MC and Richard, the man behind Go Swim Events, kept everything running smoothly throughout the day.
The event offered a variety of race distances to suit all abilities, including the family-friendly 250m, the introductory 750m, and the challenging 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, and 10000m for more experienced swimmers.
Lomo Watersport, known for our outdoor swimming kit such as wetsuits, tow floats, neoprene socks, gloves, and changing robes, was proud to be a part of another fantastic Go Swim event at Loch Lomond.
