The Highlander Hawk Bivi Bag is ideal for use as a shelter if you’re travelling light or solo without the hassle of carrying and pitching a tent. Designed with a high quality specification and material, this bivi will keep you dry and comfortable.
The bag itself is made from AB-Tex Trimax Polyester Pongee Ripstop laminate and features a PU coating as well as taped seams and two-way water resistant zips, which keep the bag water tight and allow easy entry. In addition, this durable fabric is breathable to reduce perspiration build up, and has a very high hydrostatic head of 5000mm².
This Bivi bag is perfect for backpacking as its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to carry. It opens out into a spacious bag, big enough to house a sleeping bag and mat, and allows you to view your surroundings through a waterproof mesh screen.
The screen also provides ventilation, protection against biting insects and can be held away from your face with the use of the wire-supported face frame, which is included.
