It might not be the most hydrodynamic, but if you don’t like the feeling of goggles on your delicate eye socket, or are a more nervous swimmer and prefer the sense of security a mask gives you, then the size of this lens coupled with the £13 price point will make you very happy. Despite the bargain price they felt sturdy and well-built, with polycarbonate lenses and a large, supple gasket that gave plenty of suction and certainly wasn’t budging mid-swim. Adjustment is via two buttons on each side and you even get a hard case. It’s worth noting that Lomo do offer the Vista goggle (£12.50) if bigger isn’t beautiful for you.
