Shonky Tours Lomo Lantern
Chris of Shonky Tours took one of our 1000 Lumen lanterns into the mines. He makes a very pertinent point. The lamp is not as practical as his head torch, but this is how miners would have traversed the mines back in the day, with wider, omnidirectional light sources. In comparison, the narrow beam light provided by head torches is an innovation that modern explorers can take advantage of. Great to see our lantern deep in the darkness of a mine. Good for a lunch break. Perfect for camping.
