Our neoprene buoyancy shorts are designed to help elevate your hips as you are swimming so that your body angle is in an optimal swimming position.
Made using high quality 5/3mm smoothskin neoprene which helps reduce drag in the water, these swim shorts will give better glide and improved performance when doing your triathlon swim training.
The buoyancy panels on these shorts feature our AirCore Neoprene which sandwiches air voids between the outer sheets of neoprene. This gives panels that are in the region of 30% more buoyant than regular neoprene. The front of the shorts are made with 5mm neoprene and the sides and rear are 3mm.
These buoyancy shorts will be suitable for both pool training and open water swimming.
They are a lot warmer than regular swimming trunks and the added buoyancy allows you to focus more on your swim stroke.
We added a drawstring waist cord to help secure them around your waist and this will help keep them in place when swimming or diving into the water. We also designed the back of the shorts to sit a little higher than the front which helps to protect your modesty as you are swimming or getting in and out of the water.
When deciding on the size of these swimming shorts, you want them to fit as tight as possible without being uncomfortable. This is to ensure that the small amount of water that does get into them is heated by the body.
It is worth noting that the buoyancy shorts can also be worn under your wetsuit when swim training for those wanting maximum buoyancy or those wanting to test the difference in their swimming position and overall performance.

Orders received before 2pm will normally be despatched the same working day with UK Mainland orders usually arriving the next business day if the courier option is chosen (Highlands and Islands deliveries normally take 1-2 days longer). Budget service normally takes 2-3 days and is usually delivered by Royal Mail.
Our main UK couriers are Parcelforce and DPD who will normally send you a text message with delivery updates. This includes, where possible, an estimated time of delivery. To enable us to keep you informed of the delivery progress please supply a mobile telephone number with your order so we can send these text message delivery updates.
International orders are generally received under 14 days.
A delivery fee will be added to your order BEFORE you pay so you will be able to see the total before committing to an order. The delivery charge will be shown after you enter your delivery country.
The delivery fee is calculated by weight. In the UK, for small items (whistles, clips etc) the delivery fee may be only a few pounds. For larger items like a wetsuit the fee is £5.70. Multiple items may incur a higher charge and this will always be shown to you before you pay.
