Our Twin Tube J Bars are designed to fit a range of roof racks and keep your kayak firmly attached when in transit. These J bars are a very popular method of transporting a kayak around the country.
If your roof rack is strong enough you can use two pairs of J bars to carry a pair of kayaks at the same time.
Our J bars are made from robust tube steel and are factory painted for a long life. The fixtures are strong and durable plus the thumb screw nuts means you don’t need special tools to put the bars on or take them off when not needed.
We include two roof rack straps to help secure your kayak to the bars plus two nose and tail ties for added security.

The rubber pad mount helps reduce the possibility of scratches to the kayak when in transit.
The dual purpose mountings should fit both traditional square section roof rack bars and also many modern roof racks that have a wider and flatter section.
We designed the roof bars with foam padding spacers to help reduce the risk of the kayak touching the steel bars and getting scratched.
Our Kayak Roof Rack Twin Tube J bars weigh approx 4.5 kgs. The set comes flat packed and requires assembly.
