Great to see the hit TV show ‘Annika’ filming near Lomo. The full glitz and glamour of a Hollywood production came to the shop, it was spectacular to behold. The production company Black Camel Pictures crew were set up in and around Lomo watersports on Hydepark street for an exciting car scene.
Hollywood comes to Lomo Watersports
The staff at Lomo were excited to see the secrets of the big screen come to life right outside the shop. Teams of experienced TV staff lined the streets with cameras, lights, sound engineers, clipboards, props, makeup and many gazebos full of tech. Oh and lots of walkie-talkies chirping.
The Lomo Connection
Now, for the keen viewers of this excellent Scottish detective show, you may have noticed our sailing gloves in the show and on the posters! That is right folks the main characters all wear Lomo’s excellent sailing gloves to keep their hands warm and functioning as they perform their on-screen roles as canny detectives of the Glasgow marine homicide unit. When puzzling over crimes and unexplained murders, in and around the waters of Scotland, those in the know, know a pair of Lomo sailing gloves is the kit to have.
We hear at Lomo loved the connection between our products and the show, and then to have the Black Camel Pictures production staff set up outside was an opportunity we could not miss.
Everyone at Lomo is looking forward to watching the action on the TV in the next instalment of Annika.
