The Lomo Swimrun Backpack Tow Float has been designed for use in multiple-activity events which involve open water swimming.
This type of float is becoming increasingly popular with open water swimmers as the Hi Vis orange colour allows swimmers to remain visible to boat users at long distances.
The float attaches around your waist allowing the float to act as a position marker while swimming. This can be set to the desired length using an adjustable, removable webbing strap.
Removable backpack straps are included with the float, which make it perfect for Swimrun or training.
The float features an internal dry chamber to store your gear while you swim. This chamber closes like a regular roll top drybag and has enough space to hold your essential items.
Dual chambers allow the bag to remain afloat in case of an accidental puncture. These are easily inflated/ deflated via discrete side valves, deliberately placed to avoid discomfort while the float is worn as a backpack.
This float is solidly constructed using high quality materials and RF welded seams for strength and durability.
Please note, for extra protection, we recommend ‘double bagging’ any electronic items stored inside the drybag while swimming.
