The Lomo Large Ecofloat Drybag Tow Float is our larger version of our dual chamber TPU dry bag tow float designed to be more ECO friendly. Our ECO swimming tow float is a lightweight swimming float and is designed to be better for the environment than floats made from other materials.
Like every tow float, it’s main purpose is to help you be seen by other water users and reduce the possibility of being hit by a boat. It’s highly visible colour scheme can also be used to attract attention if you need help. The waterproof compartment is great for taking items with you on your swim that you don’t want to leave ashore. It can be anything from car keys to flip flops and gives you options that you didn’t have before. Always remember to double bag sensitive electronic items before putting them into a tow float just in case a leak or puncture does occur.
Our tow float is easy to use and comes with a short adjustable leash and waist belt. The Ecofloat is made with Biodegradable TPU applied to Nylon which is much more environmentally friendly to manufacture than many other alternatives such as PVC. It’s durable and resistant to UV light and abrasion.
Biodegradable TPU is an advanced material that is much more environmentally friendly in its manufacture than alternatives such as PVC, which can contain some toxic chemicals. TPU is biodegradable in approximately 3 – 5 years in the soil. The Lomo Ecofloat is made from Bio-TPU coated onto recyclable nylon.
Please note this is not a life saving device. Please do not overinflate, or leave in car inflated as if left in the sun, air will expand and float could develop a leak.
